Our cracking Lobsters are back…
This July and August, you can enjoy whole lobster (at its prime), caught off the coast of Brixham and Colchester every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Perfectly paired with our Grand Mayne from Southern France, fruity and refreshing, very gluggable on its own but also tip-top with the sweet, rich flesh of Cornish lobster.
Lobster Thermidor, Grilled Lobster & Garlic Butter or Dressed Native Crab, served with Skinny Fries – British really is best. And if you don’t believe me, book a table and come give them a try. Be quick, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
We’re seeing in the weekend with live music from Folly Brothers, who will be joining us from 8pm. We’ll get the BBQ fired up, serving food outside, to enjoy the warm evening – we live in hope!
Bank Holiday Ska in the Square
Join us on the last bank holiday of the year to celebrate with us, Southern-style. We’re firing up the BBQ, come rain or shine, and our specialist bourbon rum menu will be available all day. Throw in some beers and live music from 7.30pm, and you’re guaranteed a true Rose & Crown party!
British Food Fortnight Supper
We’re celebrating the very best of British, with a night celebrating all the good stuff from the Isle. Three courses, plus British cheese and British wine, £40pp. Book online and quote ‘Best of British’.

As Warwick steps back in time and we see Christmas begin, join us again for our annual Victorian night celebration. Warm your winter cockles with some mulled wine and a roast pork roll. No need to book, just pop down.

Christmas Eve Eve Bad Jumper Party
Join us for infamous Bad Jumper Party on Christmas Eve Eve, for some Christmas cheer, a sing-a-long with Thom Kirkpatrick, and plenty of mince pies. Plus it wouldn’t feel Christmassy, without a bad jumper. There’ll be prizes for the best (or worst!) Christmas jumper so dig out your finest. Book a tableif you are joining us for dinner or just meet us in the bar for a drink. 6pm-late.

Boxing Day Brunch & Lunch
Join us for a leisurely breakfast or lunch at your favourite local this Boxing Day Best menu – always serving the good stuff, 11am-6pm. We’ll get the bloody marys or prosecco at the ready to keep on with the festivities.
Manhattan New Year’s Eve Party
31st December is about seeing in the New Year with a group of friends or family, with good food and a couple of drinks. It’s a social affair, so join us with enjoy sharing plates to the table, just add your choice of party goers. We’re taking a trip to New York, so expect delicious dishes from across the sea. New Year’s Day
Open for breakfast from 9am, with Bloody Marys a-plenty and serving our New Year’s Day Best Menu from noon right through till 7pm. Full of pub classics alongside delicious roasts; beats being at home cooking!
