    Why not ask for a taste of our wine of the month? Our favourite Pinot Noir, Castel del Lupo Pinot Nero della Quercia, from the hills of Pavia in Northern Italy. We think you’ll like it!

      Victorian Night

      As Warwick steps back in time and we see Christmas begin, join us again for our annual Victorian night celebration. Warm your winter cockles with some mulled wine and a roast pork roll. No need to book, just pop down.

        Christmas Eve Eve Bad Jumper Party

        We love a party and with Christmas just around the corner, we’re digging out our best Christmassy jumpers for an Eve Eve party like no other. Whether it’s handmade or shop bought, jumpers are a must! Join us for lunch, or in the bar from 5pm. Thom Kirkpatrick will be live in the bar, and there’ll be mince pies and mulled wine a-plenty.           Christmas Day

          We believe everyone should have Christmas Day off to stuff themselves with turkey before gently nodding off in front of the fire. We’ll be back open on Boxing Day. Merry Christmas.

            An Evening in Paris

            This New Year’s Eve, we’re taking a trip to Paris, with an evening celebrating the cuisine from across the sea. Expect Apéritifs, a delectable six course dinner and Chariot à Fromage. Doors will be open from 7pm, call us to book. Tickets £55pp.

              Open for breakfast from 9am, with Bloody Marys a-plenty and serving our New Year’s Day Best Menu from noon. Full of pub classics alongside delicious roasts; beats being at home cooking!

                Burns Night

                Let’s celebrate all things Scottish, with traditional dishes and a blind whisky tasting session from the experts at Glenfiddich to start the night! Menu to follow below soon, book a table online and quote ‘Burns Night’.

                  Prohibition Great Gatsby Night

                  After a month long detox and health kick, it’s time to retox with a Rose & Crown Party. Revel in the glitz and glamour of the 20s, pop on your finest and join us for dinner, followed by a party in the bar till late. Live music.

                    Valentine’s Day

                    If there’s any date reserved to treat your special someone, it’s 14th February. Join us for dinner and enjoy a delicious sharing board from our specials, or a dish from our main menu. We’ve also got fantastic selection of fine wines and Champagnes that are guaranteed to win you extra brownie points. If you can’t join us on Thursday, join us any day over the weekend – there’ll be sharing specials Friday and Saturday too!

                      As the season changes, so does our menu. Join us the day before menu change and get a sneak peek of our new menu.                         Cheltenham Race Day

                        Join us this Ladies Day, when we’ll be off on a Rose & Crown road trip to Cheltenham Races.

                        We’ll be starting off with a Buck’s Fizz breakfast (or a pint if you prefer), before boarding the coach for a few more drinks and review of the racing post! Dress to impress, and don’t miss the coach home. There’ll be deli boards waiting for when we get back to the pub.

                          Mother’s Day

                          We’ll be open as usual for breakfast, so why not change tradition this year and start off with a Buck’s Fizz Breakfast before heading out for the day?

                          We serve up the favourites alongside new classics and always prioritise quality produce. We are serious about our roasts too, so settle in with the family and enjoy top-quality beef from Aubrey Allen, Jimmy Butler’s free-range pork or our delicious vegetarian roast with all the glorious trimmings.                             Do you know your Champagne from your Prosecco or your Cava from your English Sparkling?  Join us as Head Chef Darren Holloway delivers an exceptional five course menu and our wine supplier talks through some superb sparkling wines. Whether it’s education, a bit of fun, or just a Friday night down your local – it’s going to be a lot of fun. £40pp, booking advised. 

                              Easter Weekend

                              Get the long weekend started early and join us on Thursday for our usual Steak Night. Settle into Good Friday with a leisurely lunch and don’t forget spin to win from 5pm. Easter Sunday is the time to bring the family to the pub for a scrumptious get together. We’ll be serving breakfast as usual and our Sunday Best menu from midday.

                              Easter Monday brings you our Bank Holiday Best Menu, full of pub classics and a roast rollover to cure any hangover. We’ll have the Bloody Marys ready.

                                Party Night

                                A long month? Pay day? No matter what your reason to celebrate, we’re throwing a party! We’ll have music in the bar till later, so come down, enjoy spin to win, dine in the eatery and then party in the bar till late. Be sure to test our new skills on the cocktail list too!
