What a Summer it has been at The Rose and Crown! We've had our beer festival - complete with Morris Dancers during the Folk Festival, our Summer Evening Sessions with great live music on sleepy Sundays, The Posh Pub Quiz cheering up Mondays, and who could forget the infamous Grown Up's Party Night!
With the turn of the season, it is time to let you know what's up our sleeve for the coming weeks!

The Rose and Aubrey Steak Night

In conjunction with our good friends at Aubrey Allen - Catering Butcher of the Year - we will be holding our Steak Night every Friday until December. With the finest selection of 28 Day Dry-aged Aberdeenshire Steaks, ranging from Rump Caps to T-Bones this surely is one for Steak Lovers everywhere - Call us at the pub to book your table now, and join The Rose and Aubrey Steak Night following!

Warwick Words Festival - with The Rose and Crown's Jo Eames

Warwick's Ninth Words Festival is upon us,and this year really is a special one for us. Jo Eames, our Designer and Wine Buyer released her first Novel earlier this year, The Faithless Wife, a story of a chance encounter in Menorca, immersing a Woman in a web of Island Secrets that have endured since the Spanish Civil War. To celebrate this, come and join Jo at The Rose on Friday 1st October from 5.30pm for a glass of Spanish Wine, and an insight on the book and reader-friendly pubs. The Autumn Dinner Party

After a long service at The Rose, Lee, Jez and myself eventually sat down and talked about what would make the ultimate dinner party. Lee shouted 'Exciting Food!', 'Great Wine!' exclaimed Jez and I interjected with 'Great Hosting!', so we put all our ideas together and came up with our Autumn Dinner Party.
We would like to invite you to come and sample our Head Chef Russell's new menu, while some of our suppliers come and wax lyrical about their produce, and Team Rose look after you in the customary fashion.
